Helen Rich is an accordionist available for events and private functions throughout the Greater Manchester area and Cheshire. As an accordion player for over 40 years Helen is an experienced player with a repertoire of music to suit most tastes ranging from classical, accordion classics, popular and folk.

Helen has three main accordions.

Acoustic: A more recently acquired (June 2020) custom-built Serenellini Zeus Compact double cassotto with musette tuning and a Cooperativa 508 Compact which is a straight-tuned double cassotto with a rich sound.

Acoustic/midi mix. A musette tuned Paolo Soprani with factory fitted built in ciao midi. This accordion can be played as an acoustic, entirely electronic through an amplifier or both combined and any of these mixes controlled separately across the treble, bass and chords to give a variety of sounds.

Like many other accordionists she seems to collect accordions and still has the Hohner Musette IV (bought from Ian Holmes for her 11th birthday) and a 1950s Gaudini that she took round Europe.
